Our billing is based on credits. One API call is usually equivalent of one credit. For API calls running for more than 1 computation minute, 1 credit is charged for every 1 computation minute. A computation minute is based on a single processing unit. If an API call uses parallel processing with 2 processing units, 1 credit is due every 30 seconds. For API calls which have caching enabled and a cached result is available, only 0.5 credit is charged per call.
You can either buy a package or a monthly subscription. Packages are one-time payments and the credits will never expire. Subscriptions are monthly charges for a fixed amount and credits. At the end of the month, remaining credits will expire. In exchange, credits purchased with a subscription are much cheaper per unit.
You can also combine packages with a subscription. In this case, the credits included in the subscription are consumed first. Once your subscription credits are consumed, your package credits will be used.

What happens if I have consumed all my credits?
Your API calls will throw an error.
Do I get a message if I am running out of credits?
Yes, absolutely. By default, you will get an email when you run low on your credits.
You can change this setting in your profile.
How can I make sure not to run out of credits?
You can active the auto refill option for your packages in your billing settings.
With this option, the package is automatically renewed when it runs out of credits as long as your credit card information is up to date.
